The second season of Men of a Certain Agefinds our trio of friends - Joe Ray Romano, Andre Braugher Owen, Terry Scott Bakula to - face, or avoid new challenges. Joe is self-treatment for addiction to the game by getting in shape for a tour of senior golf, Owen is trying to take the leadership role on behalf of his father's car, and Terry is swallowing his actor's ego and trying to improve their income by selling cars at the same dealer. It is not a spoiler to say that everyone is failing, to varying degrees. But the achievement of this series is that middle-aged need energy so entertaining.
What, therefore, makes men of a certain age so nice to see? Well, for starters, is not its strong core of truth: Life is not easy or neat, or pretty. In addition, this show dark staining is often very funny, never more so when friends gather for a restaurant meal, to whine and tease each other. The dialogue is razor-sharp cutting, time zips along, no matter how its anti-heroes ogy can be. In fact, men of a certain age is downright inspiring to anyone of any age. But do not tell that to these guys: they want to bitch and moan for his - and her - pleasure.
The aging of Playboy loves to woo the ladies, but he has enough self-awareness to know that his rootless lifestyle is becoming more pathetic for the year (and at some point, you will realize that aspects highlights in hair are not a good idea). "Men," which was created by "Everybody Loves Raymond" Ray Romano and Royce, Mike Romano gives the potentially more interesting to play. Joe is a store owner parts of middle age who lives in a hotel as his marriage disintegrates. In this role, Romano tries to do more of what I did on "Raymond", with some success, but I can not help feeling that a more qualified actor to have been able to make self-pity Joe, fear and more Frustration shades.
The best "man" moments come when the three boys eat breakfast after going to one of their "We'll be in a" walking. These dialogues dinner play to the strengths of the three actors, and there is some honesty sad that lurk behind the trio informal joking. For me, however, there is a great reason to tune into "men" again, now that I've seen the episodes sent TNT.Cupcake Wars Season 2, Episode 4: Tree People
