Following Frank Edgar Anthony Pettis, of course. I know many people are already calling for an immediate rematch, but does not seem fair that Pettis wait until after Maynard / Edgar 3. So I'm in favor of "The Answer" session "Showtime" and gives us the much-discussed CME / UFC Lightweight Championship Unification Bout.
But how is Edgar going to do against the final Championship WEC lightweight? If his performance at UFC 125 is used as a base ... Frank Edgar is going to get knocked out. If Pettis captures the way Maynard caught Edgar Edgar, Pettis has the kind of murderer instinct needed to finish the job and win the title. My respect and admiration, even Frank Edgar continues to grow on a per fight, but I've been saying that Pettis will become the UFC lightweight champion for a while. And although his fight in the UFC 125 was excellent, Edgar simply did not show enough to make me change my stance.
